Presentation of the Researchers
This summer of 2017, we conducted nearly a month of extensive research with Professor Duzer, to explore and better understand the complexities of being a woman in France during the late nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century.
After conducting our research, we analyzed a choice of serial postcards from her collection, in order to give a voice and tell the story of the women that sent and received these postcards. In finalizing our research, we created this website to express our research, hence participating in a new digital humanities initiative.
