Description

Rawley Murray's parents migrated to Fresno from Texas. He grew up on the west side, but went back to Texas for a brief period when he was young. He was part of the Electric Bogaloos but it is unclear to what extent. Murray, also known as Bogaloo Boo, recalls the origins of popping. He narrates, how the robot was too slow for him, so he sped it up. Because he was too young (7 or 8 years old), he didn't go to a lot of the shows and could not travel. He did, however, perform in some of the shows. He claims that, he came up with a lot of the dance moves. After Electric Bogaloo (its unclear when he leaves the group or when he is part of it), he joins another group called Untouchable Three. This is about 10 years later and he is 18/19. Played a lot of shows, were booked up.
